About Emily

I gained my professional practitioner’s qualification in Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and Pathology in 2003 with the Massage Training Institute (MTI).  I supplemented this by attending several courses in Dynamic Massage with Darien Pritchard from 2003 to 2006.

I started receiving referrals from the Wymondham Chiropractor Clinic in 2004; and was voted “Massage Worlds’ Therapist of the Year” in 2004. Also in 2004, I took an Advanced Massage course with Alison Rostron which included Trigger Point Massage, and Sports Massage techniques.

In 2005 I qualified as an aromatherapist by gaining a Diploma in Aromatherapy with  the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC). I also studied with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) to become a Certified Infant Massage Instructor qualified to run baby massage courses.

I studied Indian Head Massage with Rosemary Williams in 2006.

In 2007 I launched my massage teaching: I offer individually tailored sessions for people wishing to learn how to massage friends and family members. See massage courses page for more details.

I also attended “Massage – working with people with cancer” at the Penny Brohn Cancer Centre  (Formerly Bristol Cancer Care Centre).

In 2009 I received my Diploma in Natural Nutrition from the College of Natural Nutrition; and qualified in Colon Hydrotherapy at The National College of Colon Hydrotherapy.
